Photoelectric addressable smoke detectors.  Address is set by eight DIP switches.  These smoke detectors were annually cleaned and calibration checked.  Removed from service when the control panel malfunctioned about 9 years ago.  They were installed in a clean non-smoking home environment.  These are still shiny but yellowed from sunlight.
