Overview:
The Shock Sensor serves a variety of functions: it has two bult in reed switches and may detect openings and closings (like a door/window sensor); it may also be connected to a variety of shock detectors. There is a limit of five detectors (of any kind) per shock sensor, and one external reed switch. The sensitivity of the detectors can be adjusted by using the built-in ajustment pot on the shock sensor. Shock Sensors send a signal to the CPU every 64 minutes. If the CPU does not her a supervisory signal within 12 hours a supervisory report will be sent to the Central Station. The sensor uses a 3.6 volt lithium battery which should last 5-8 years under normal conditions. If the battery voltage goes low a trouble report will be sent to the Central Station. If the battery fails, a supervisory indication will be detected and reported by the CPU.
This item is brand new and we will warranty it for one year. Unless we are out of batteries we will include a new battery with it upon shipment.
