Radionics C8137 Encoder Interface is compatible with D7212B, D8112, D9112B Control Panels (and others).
The C8137 Encoder Interface is used in conjunction with the Control/Communicator and an open collector voltage triggered report transmitter. It converts serial data messages from the Control Communicator to open collector "pull down" voltage signals. These signals (from CH1-CH8, O/C) trigger designated channels on the transmitter. The transmitter signals the central station. The C8137 isolateds the Serial Data and Aux Power to other Control Communicator accessories so that tampering with these wires does not affect the C8137.
The C8137 is designed to be used with the FastLink C601 Encoder. It is not compatible with the D8121A/D8122 S.T.U. Modules or the MultiLink or OmegaLink R.F. Systems which operate with positive voltage signals.
